Dr. J. J. Wendel Plastic Surgery welcomes you to our practice. We look forward to seeing you at your first appointment! Please be sure to bring your photo ID, face covering or mask, COVID-19 screening form and consultation fee. 

COVID-19 Screening

In keeping with the Tennessee Pledge, we want to assure you that Dr. J. J. Wendel Plastic Surgery is taking every necessary precaution to protect our team, patients and community safe and help prevent the spread of COVID-19. To prepare for your appointment, please read the below.

What to Expect at Your Upcoming Appointment:

  • You will be texted a link to our screening form online. Please complete it prior to your appointment. If you prefer, you may download, print and complete our screening form and bring it with you: https://bit.ly/CVDSCRN
  • If you answer “yes” to any of the questions on the form, please stay home and contact us to be rescheduled.
  • All patients, staff and visitors are required to wear a face covering or mask in common areas. We cannot provide masks for patients and visitors.
  • We are limiting visitors to one per patient.
  • No more than 1 person (2 if you are accompanied by your partner, guardian or driver) should enter the vestibule at one time.
  • If there are 2 people in the vestibule upon your arrival, please wait outside, standing 6 feet apart from others.
  • When you enter the vestibule, please push the intercom button to be screened.
  • After your screening, we will take your temperature under your tongue. If it exceeds 100.4 degrees, we will need to reschedule your appointment.
  • Staff who come in close contact with patients are required to wear a mask and gloves.
  • Please maintain space in the lobby. When able, please sit every other seat in the waiting room. We will do our best to get you roomed as quickly as possible.
  • We regularly clean and disinfect all common areas. We encourage you to wash your hands before and after your visit.
  • If there is any concern or question about whether you have been exposed to COVID-19 and could be a carrier of the virus, please stay home. People with COVID-19 have reported a wide range of symptoms, including but not limited to fever, cough and/or shortness of breath. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus.

Consult Fees

New Consult with Dr. Wendel: $150
New Consult with Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner, Lori or Paige: $95
New Consult with Certified Aesthetic Laser Operator, Jill: $75
New Consult + Same-Day Treatment with Lori, Paige or Jill: $150-$250

The consult fee remains on your account as a credit to use toward procedures for up to 3 months (90 days). If you decide not to proceed with treatment within 3 months of your consult, or if you cancel your treatment for any reason, we will retain your consult fee.

Payment Methods

Dr. J. J. Wendel Plastic Surgery accepts the following forms of payment: all major debit/credit cards, cash, cashier’s check, Care Credit, and personal checks from established surgery patients only. Note: Care Credit is not accepted for consultation fees, however, it is an acceptable form of payment for services rendered with a minimum purchase of $200. Your name must be on any form of payment. We do not accept photographs of any form of payment, nor do we accept Health Savings Accounts for cosmetic procedures or products.

No Show & Cancellation Policies

Please email greetings@drjjwendel.com or call (615) 921-2100 at least 48 hours prior to your appointment if you wish to reschedule or cancel.  

If you cancel or reschedule your appointment with less than 48 hours’ notice or do not show up for your appointment, you will be charged a $150 late cancellation or no show fee in order to be rescheduled. If you have been quoted and scheduled for a procedure, the deposit, as outlined in your quote, is considered the late cancellation or no show fee.
