If age and sun exposure have left you with fine lines and wrinkles around your mouth and eyes, you may be an ideal candidate for laser treatment with the Halo laser, full-surface laser skin resurfacing, fractional laser skin resurfacing, micro laser peel (MLP) or a combination.
Paige was amazing. I have been extremely concerned with redness along with broken capillaries on my cheeks and nose. Paige discussed that bbl would be a great option, after some research I requested we do the forever young bbl she said that would be even more beneficial. Paige preformed a Visia complexion scan which helps target damaged skin, then the forever young BBL changes that damaged cell and makes it youthful again! Its the truest form of correcting damaged skin. Paige, Dr. Wendel, and all staff are the best and my skin looks amazing! She suggested I use Avene Cilcalfate post procedure and Dr. Wendel Koji pads, omg they are amazing! My skin looks almost as good as Nicole Kidman’s!

Read More ReviewsIn today’s medical aesthetics, laser treatment is a mainstay. Various laser devices have effectively revolutionized the way that doctors and aestheticians approach treating patients. The following are benefits of using lasers in the treatment process:
Lasers are used to treat a wide variety of common cosmetic concerns and skin conditions. Here are a few notable examples:
Different types of lasers and similar devices produce different results. Two popular laser treatment devices are fractional lasers and IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) devices. A fractional CO2 laser is an advanced laser that burns a smaller portion or fraction of the top skin layer or epidermis, unlike a traditional CO2 laser that burns the entire area. Because it only affects specific target cells, there is less damage to healthy skin and less risk of scarring and discoloration. The IPL device uses intense pulses of light energy that can be filtered to induce specific effects. The light penetrates just below the skin’s surface to strategically target the pigment or the blood vessels. After treatment, the body removes the damaged tissue and replaces it with smoother skin.
If you are interested in lightening your skin, we offer a variety of laser treatments to help enhance your skin and return it to its natural glow. We have found that laser technology such as IPL and Fractional Laser have been helpful for melasma treatment.
Laser skin rejuvenation is for someone who wants to enhance the quality of their skin, after having damage caused by sun exposure, aging or other skin conditions. Laser skin rejuvenation can be achieved using one of the following:
The BBL, Yag laser and photofacial allow us to treat the surface and deep layers of the skin, improving its texture, clarity and appearance. If you want to look younger, get rid of wrinkles, age spots, sun damage or acne scars, you might be a good candidate for laser skin rejuvenation.
Paige Hastings, Advanced Nurse Practitioner will perform the procedure in our state-of-the-art facility with the latest technology. After we identify your trouble spots, we use a laser or BroadBand Light (BBL) that penetrates the deep layers of your skin, removing unsightly spots and vessels and improving the texture and quality of your skin. This stimulates your own collagen production, causing a more youthful, healthier and rejuvenated appearance to the skin.
Research supports that regular maintenance treatments 2-3 times per year can keep your skin looking young and healthy for years to come. It’s like anti-aging for the skin.
For your comfort, we use the Zimmer Cryo 6 Cooling System following laser treatments.
Have you always wanted glowing, luminous skin or maybe had it but have lost it with age? Let us bring back youthful-looking skin with our Sciton Halo laser. Best of all, there’s minimal downtime!
As we age, we lose our youthful glow from various causes:
Your skin can develop fine lines, sun spots, or wrinkles, which leads to a dull, older-looking appearance. Until now, it was hard to change this without weeks of downtime because previous laser treatments were too deep and aggressive, or too shallow to reverse the damage. NOW, with Halo™, we can visibly erase years of damage by targeting the exact depth of treatment YOUR skin needs to restore its youthful glow.
Halo brings back your glow with:

Full Surface Laser Skin Resurfacing: Contour TRL Surface Ablation
The Contour TRL™ (Tunable Resurfacing Laser) is a full-field skin resurfacing technology. This treatment mode offers the widest range of treatments available with everything from a superficial laser peel up to more aggressive, deeper resurfacing into the deeper layers of the skin. Dr. Wendel and Paige Hastings can also adjust the amount of heat independently from the actual depth of the laser peel. This gives the provider a tremendous amount of control and precision over your resurfacing procedures.
Our laser specialists may recommend the customizable MicroLaserPeel® to reduce wrinkles quickly and easily.
NanoLaserPeel™ removes the top layer of skin to restore its radiance. This laser peel is a very easy and precise way to bring back skin’s glow with minimal recovery time.
If you have noticeable lines and wrinkles on your face, have acne scars or uneven pigmentation, you could be a good candidate for laser resurfacing. Laser skin resurfacing is performed to improve the appearance of aging and wrinkled skin. Two types of resurfacing are available:
The two most commonly used lasers to improve the skin’s surface are Erbium and CO2. We prefer Erbium laser resurfacing for precise, safe and controlled treatments. Erbium laser causes minimal burning and fewer side effects, which translates to shorter downtime.
ProFractional™ – XC Therapy is a solution to achieve excellent resurfacing results with much less downtime. Unlike full field resurfacing that removes the entire surface area of treated skin, fractional laser treatment ablates tiny, narrow channels into the skin, covering only a fraction of the total treatment area. This action leaves the surrounding tissue intact for rapid healing.
The benefits of ProFractional – XC Therapy include increased patient comfort, shorter healing times, and tunable results that can range from subtle to dramatic.
ProFractional density can be set at 5.5%, 11% or 22%. This means that at a setting of 11%, 89% of the skin remains intact to promote healing.
A YAG Laser is a powerful, precise, safe and effective tool for various treatments, including:
Each of these two technologies, full surface and fractional laser resurfacing, is completely tunable and customizable to meet your unique needs and address the condition of your skin. Both types of resurfacing can be performed alone or in combination with each other at the same time, and even in combination with BroadBand Light (BBL).
For example, a common triple combination procedure done at one sitting might include:
This treatment package can be repeated for 3-4 sessions spaced out every 4-6 weeks for optimal results.
Dr. Wendel or Paige Hastings will perform the procedure in our Green Hills office, using the Sciton Joule Laser to treat the areas of wrinkled, aged skin with coherent laser light energy. The beams of light remove the damaged skin, simultaneously heating the underlying skin, which tightens skin and stimulates new skin growth.
The risk of skin pigmentation loss with the Erbium:YAG Laser is much lower than that of a CO2 laser, deep chemical peel or deep dermabrasion.
