The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery has released their annual report on plastic surgery and non-invasive cosmetic treatment trends. The ASAPS works with an independent research firm to compile the national data for procedures performed from 2012-2017. 6,500 board-certified plastic surgeons were sent a paper-based questionnaire that 291 of them returned. This report is a one-stop shop for doctors and consumers alike to look into surgical and non-surgical aesthetic procedure statistics in the United States.
