Patients are now seeking facelifts earlier and earlier to reduce maintenance and save money down the line, and experts believe this trend will continue. In 2023 experts expect “the facelift [to be] the anchor and then in-office procedures like Botox and filler [to] support the results,” reports Allure.

President of the American Society of Plastic Surgery, Steven Williams, predicts that liposuction and breast augmentations will become more popular in 2023 based on two factors: the economy and longevity. Typically, patients desiring fat removal or augmentation have considered these plastic surgery procedures for an extended period of time (because of their long-lasting results) before going under the knife. They aren’t overnight decisions. “When someone has been planning and saving for the last decade, they’re going to find a way to make it work out,” says Williams. Apart from the economy and longevity of these procedures, experts predict a rise in popularity because these surgeries are often combined to create and enhance an hourglass shape.
