Workplace Competition Leads More Men To Botox

Women aren’t the only ones trying to minimize the wrinkles and frown lines. Men are also fighting ageism, competing to stay relevant especially in the workplace. Determined to do something about the signs of aging on his face, David, a 54-year-old portfolio manager, decided to undergo regular Botox injections as a way to retain both his youthful appearance and his job. He’s not alone. The American Society of Plastic Surgeons recorded a 20% increase in men receiving cosmetic treatments since 2010, with injectable fillers and Botox seeing much of that growth.
