Tummy Tuck Reduces Back Pain and Incontinence

New research shows that although abdominoplasty (also known as the “tummy tuck”) is classified as a cosmetic procedure, it may have more functional benefits. The study, published in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (the official medical journal of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons), found that abdominoplasty improved two common post-childbearing symptoms for women: back pain and urinary incontinence.
