Simone Biles is well known, especially in the United States, as a Gold Medal-winning gymnast. Since 2011, Biles has been an integral name in the gymnastics space, turning professional in 2015 at 18 years old. Now 28 and married to an NFL player, she has also gained a reputation as being honest, divulging her struggles with mental health and more. Most recently during a “Get Un-Ready With Me” TikTok posted on October 29th, Biles shared that she’d had three plastic surgeries. Keep reading to learn which surgeries she’s had and where to get a plastic surgery consultation near you.

First Up: Earlobe Repair

Biles shared that she has undergone an earlobe repair after an earring was ripped out of her ear when she was younger. This procedure is referred to as a lobuloplasty and not uncommonly performed due to damage from earrings, whether they stretch or rip through the lobe. This surgery seems to be the most minor and non-invasive plastic surgery of the three the Olympian has had.

A Lower Blepharoplasty—Goodbye Eye Bags!

Recently, Simone Biles revealed that she has undergone a lower blepharoplasty, a surgical procedure to remove excess skin and tighten the area under the eyes. Blepharoplasties can be done on the eyelid,  eye bag area, or both, often to provide an anti-aging effect. As we age, the skin on our eyelids begins to droop and can cause image issues in extreme cases. Those with hooded eyes are more likely to experience difficulties with sagging eyelids, making a blepharoplasty a viable option. Many people, including those without hooded eyes, have this surgery done with over 120,000 blepharoplasties being performed in the United States in 2024. In Simone Biles’ case, she shared that she had the surgery to remove lower eye bags.

Now Arriving At Breast Augmentation Station

Breast augmentations remain one of the most common plastic surgeries performed, and Simone Biles is now part of the group of people who’ve had one. She hinted at the operation by using the cherry emoji and later spoke to People, confirming that she decided to go under the knife to get breast implants. While she didn’t disclose details like implant size, brand, or surgeon, she mentioned how she chooses to be open about her plastic surgery experiences. Preaching self love, Biles spoke about deciding to have a surgery because she wants it, rather than because someone or society told her she needed it.
