FDA Approves the Chin Filler JUVÉDERM VOLUMA XC From Allergan Aesthetics

Allergan Aesthetics, an AbbVie Company, has received FDA approval to use JUVÉDERM VOLUMA XC for the use of chin augmentation in adults over 21 years old. This marks the fifth approval among JUVÉDERM cosmetic fillers in the United States, and the second indication for JUVÉDERM VOLUMA XC, which was approved by the FDA for cheek augmentation in 2013. JUVÉDERM VOLUMA XC is a safe, effective procedure for chin augmentation. Many patients report satisfaction for one year or longer following treatment. All Allergan Aesthetics clinical trials have included a diverse population of gender, age, race, and ethnicity since 2018.
