Recent studies have found that men and women who undergo eye treatments are seen as more likable and trustworthy. These discoveries have been met with an increased popularity in eyelid treatments. The American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS) conducted a survey during which they discovered that eye surgeries are among the top plastic surgery trends in the United States. Plastic surgeons believe that this is the case because eyelid surgeries give patients a subtle lift in appearance without making it obvious that they underwent a cosmetic procedure.
