On April 15th, 2022, Allergan Aesthetics celebrated a milestone for Botox Cosmetic – the 20th anniversary of the day the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) first approved Botox to improve the look of moderate to severe glabellar lines.
Over the last 20 years, Botox has become the industry standard for smoothing wrinkles and fine lines. Botox Cosmetic is the first FDA-approved neurotoxin that temporarily improves the look of moderate to severe crow’s feet, frown lines, and forehead lines in adults. Many scientific studies have showcased the clinical significance of this treatment. Botox has changed the trajectory of people’s careers, as well as the way the medical aesthetics community practices and teaches, according to Jean Carruthers, MD, FRCSC, FRC.
Allergan will celebrate with an art installation: a visual, interactive experience that will take visitors on a celebratory journey of self-affirmation, Plastic Surgery Practice reports. The art installation will be on a cross-country tour, beginning with an unveiling in New York City on April 22nd at 9 am ET, and will be open to the public until April 23rd. The installation will then travel to Chicago from May 6th to 8th and finish in Los Angeles from May 20th through 22nd.
Beginning on May 30th, a version of the installation will be featured at Resorts World in Las Vegas for eight weeks. Visitors will be eligible to receive an exclusive Botox Cosmetic offer powered by Allē while supplies last.
