Some comediennes and actresses don’t shy away from talking about their bodies and the plastic surgery procedures they have underwent. In Take My Nose…Please!, a new documentary by director Joan Kron, the viewer is taken on journeys with multiple comedic women as they decide whether or not they want to go under the knife. Kron chose plastic surgery as her topic because she wanted to change the narrative surrounding it–especially when it’s used to undermine women.
