Since 1997, the number of men seeking cosmetic surgery and aesthetic procedures has tripled, according to the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, reaching 1.2 million procedures in 2015. Traditionally, women make up the majority of plastic surgery patients. As of recently, the number of men interested in undergoing cosmetic procedures has been surging and creating new trends in plastic surgery. As men become more concerned with their appearance, it’s becoming more acceptable for them to do something about it.
