Dorsal Reduction Adds to Social Perception of Rhinoplasty

JAMA Facial Plastic Surgery published a study that attributes dorsal reduction surgery to a patient’s improved social perception. Dr. Cherian Kandathil, M.D. and his colleagues assessed over 800 patients’ images who underwent rhinoplasty procedures to determine their estimated age, approachability, perceived success, and much more. Their study found an increase in attractiveness, approachability, and health—all from a rhinoplasty procedure!
