With summer fast-approaching, many patients are considering breast augmentation as a way of getting their bodies beach-ready. According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the best time to undergo a breast augmentation procedure is a month in advance of your summer vacation. This is because plastic surgeons recommend waiting one month post-operation to swim in either a pool or ocean. A month post-treatment, the implants may sit higher on the chest wall; however, over time the implants will settle and reveal the final results.
