Breast Augmentations After Having Kids: A Trend Among Celebrities

Woman looks at two different breast implant options to decide which is best for her.

Being pregnant and giving birth take a toll on a woman’s body, especially the breasts. Whether they grow, shrink, or sag, many women choose to have a lift, reduction, or augmentation after having children. Within the past few months, both Meghan Trainor, “All About That Bass” singer, and Lindsay Arnold Cuisick, professional dancer and former Dancing With The Stars Pro, have gotten breast augmentations. Both women welcomed babies back in 2023 and decided to go under the knife to get breast implants, and in Trainor’s case also a lift.

Celebrities Who Had Breast Augmentations After Giving Birth

Meghan Trainor and Lindsay Arnold Cuisick are not the only celebrities who got breast augmentations after having children, reality TV star and author Lala Kent also chose to get her breasts done after her first child. Kent has even now voiced her want to get them “re-done” after having a second child and breastfeeding. TV personality Kristin Cavallari and “Everybody Loves Raymond” actress Patricia Heaton did the same, both citing the change in their breasts from breastfeeding as the main reason they chose the surgery.

Not only celebrities are having breast augmentations after giving birth, however. Women everywhere are looking to return their breasts to how they looked before pregnancy or enhance them to boost confidence after going through the drastic changes that come with pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Is A Breast Augmentation Right For You?

Whether or not you’ve given birth, you may be considering a breast augmentation for a multitude of reasons. If you have back pain you may be looking at a breast reduction, if you have loose skin you may be looking at a breast lift, if you want bigger breasts you may be looking at implants. Whatever your goal is, Dr. Wendel’s Plastic Surgery offers a variety of breast augmentations to help you feel and look your best.

Meghan Trainor shared that she opted for a lift and breast implants due to weight loss and the results of having and breastfeeding two children. Lifts are useful because they can reduce extra skin and reinstate the perkiness that may have declined with age and children. Combining that with an implant allowed Trainor to choose her preferred size, whether she wanted to even out their natural size or make them more proportionate to the rest of her body. Breast lifts and augmentations are also often used for Mommy Makeover procedures that typically include other body sculpting treatments, like a tummy tuck, as well.

Giving birth and breastfeeding can take a toll on the body by constantly changing and adjusting to accommodate for another human. A breast augmentation can offer a return to normalcy and confidence boost for women, whether they’ve given birth or just want a change.
