A chemical peel is a procedure that aims to accelerate skin exfoliation by the use of chemical substances resulting in renewed, healthier-looking skin and a more uniform complexion. Unlike a laser treatment or facelift, there is no downtime or discomfort following a chemical peel.
We have two chemical peels in our office that are appropriate for all skin types.
The Illuminize Peel helps skin appear more vibrant and radiant-looking after just one treatment. There is little to no visible peeling, and it’s gentle, making it ideal for first-time chemical peel patients.
The Vitalize Peel smooths the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and roughness. Patients will see noticeable results after just one peel but can expect incredible results after a series of three to six peels. If you have mild-to-moderate skin imperfections due to skin aging and sun exposure, or unevenness caused by acne scarring or other pigmentary changes (melasma), this would be the peel for you!
The complete dermaplaning plus peel treatment is expected to take about 45 minutes, which includes time to address any questions you may have, and a discussion of your post-peel care.
