Recently released data from the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) indicate that nearly a quarter million more plastic surgery procedures were performed in 2018 than have been performed is previous years. These statistics suggest that there is a steady increase in the popularity of cosmetic procedures, including a spike in the number of body-shaping procedures performed. Of these body-shaping surgeries, breast augmentation, liposuction, nose reshaping, eyelid surgery, and tummy tucks have become the top cosmetic surgical procedures in the United States.
